Forever is soon

Not long ago I heard my moms voice ever so lightly come across the monitor. Thinking that she was trying to call or ask for something I rushed into her room asking, you ok, were you trying to call me? She opened her eyes and asked what did I say something? I guess you were talking in your spleep, I said, and then we talked alittle, and laughed,...a little. Then as we were saying or goodnights to eachother, out of the blue she says, you know it's funny, I keep thinking your dad is gonna come walking through that door. I thought that must of been who she was talking to in her sleep.
As the two worlds of life and death become closer and closer for her, I imagine that she really does see, or talk with dad sometimes. Cancer brought those worlds together for dad, and now it's takeing her as well, ...but she will finally get to be with him again, and she's missed him for so long now, ...that wonderful thought today has become something I try to tell myself over and over when she's haveing hard time. This picture of them I would love the world to see.
